Parliament Hill cover-up still afoot as DPS stonewalls

by Michael West | Aug 8, 2025 | What's the scam?

Bureaucrats from the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) continue to evade questions by Senator David Shoebridge in relation to the cover-up in the Parliamentary Library. What’s the scam?

The scam is that DPS – which runs the Parliamentary Library research function for politicians – has refused to answer a second tranche of questions put by Senator David Shoebridge in relation to an employee suing Australian citizens with (or without) their knowledge and imprimatur.

The questions were put to DPS in the March session of Senate Estimates. It is now August. MWM contacted DPS to ask for an ETA on return of questions and we were told October. DPS said it was getting legal advice on one question. On the other … it provided a ‘non response response’ which failed to address the question put by the Senator.
