It’s jobs for the boys and girls in what may be the dying days of the Morrison government.

On the eve of the election the Morrison government has made a raft of appointments to government bodies. Labor shadow attorney-general Mark Dreyfus belled the cat. More than 85 former Coalition MPs and staff have been appointed to the Administrative Appeals tribunal since the Coalition took office in 2013. Labor appointed two in the previous six years.
