Labor sneaks a big gift to coal companies

What a gift for the Greens and the Teal Army. They snuck it out, dropping it to Canberra Coalition insider Phil Coorey on the Financial Review, which then buried his “Exclusive” down their Home Page.

Labor did that is, hopefully to be buried by the national musings over Anthony Albanese being struck down by Covid. Surely it is a good thing for Labor that Albo is not about to face questions as to how Labor’s policy is any different to Coalition policy on either coal or gas. On climate. Coal mines to get a carve out from carbon emission rules. Says it all.
