Francesca Albanese’s UN report finds Western media and the major platforms were accomplices to Israel’s genocide in Gaza, through censorship and by amplifying Israeli claims. The Special Rapporteur’s report, Truth Under the Rubble, records 150 media offices and institutions destroyed by October 2025, the killing of journalists and their families, and 38.8 million Facebook and Instagram posts removed or suppressed. It names the BBC, CNN, the New York Times and the ABC’s dismissal of Antoinette Lattouf.
