The Guardian published an article today about how tech company Palantir has access to NDIS data. What’s the scam?
The scam is The Guardian calling it “an exclusive” while failing to acknowledge the articles published on this website on August 28 on this very subject. Their failure to do so an unethical practice seen far too often in the ‘mainstream’ media.
What The Guardian’s Josh Taylor did reveal was a specific FOI response from an ACIC officer admitting that ingesting one Fraud Fusion Centre dataset into Palantir “generates an amount of documents that would likely not be manageable.” That’s a indirect confirmation that NDIS participant data flows into Palantir, which is exactly what Claudia Weisenberger documented in her article for MWM.
We acknowledge and thank Josh and The Guardian for that information.
