David McBride
David McBride an Australian whistleblower and former Australian Army lawyer who served two tours of duty in Afghanistan in 2011 and 2013. He was charged with several offences for providing information to the ABC about war crimes in Afghanistan and is awaiting trial. The war crime allegations, broadcast by the ABC, were considered by the Brereton inquiry. He also served in the British army in Northern Ireland.
