Currently Scott Morrison has sole power to send Australia to war. Nationals’ Andrew Gee wants to keep it that way.

The Minister for Veterans’ Affairs and Defence Personnel told Michael West Media: “The convention adopted on both sides of the aisle is that the government of the day makes decisions in relation to Australian military activity through the Prime Minister and Cabinet processes. I am comfortable with that and there are no plans to change it.”
