Polls: Albo firms, majors lose ground to Greens, Teal surge

Polling by government-subsidised News Corp and government subsidised Nine confirms: Labor firms for victory, Coalition slips, third parties gain.

Key takes:

  • Albo firms for office while away sick (News 2PP: 53 – 47)
  • disaffection with majors leaves a third of Australians with indies, minor parties or undecided.
  • Resolve has Greens surging from 11 to 15.
  • Teal hard to measure as don’t contest all seats but are damaging majors.
  • Teal hitting Liberals, Greens hitting Labor?
  • Barnaby and co continue to control Australia’s climate action debacle with their 4% support nationally.
  • Morrison somehow polls 45 preferred PM
