Dr Scott Burchill joins The West Report for a straight talk session on international relations and Iran.
Burchill is a senior lecturer in International Relations at Deakin University, with research interests spanning international relations theory, international political economy, and Australian foreign policy.
We will get into what the major powers think they are doing, what they say they are doing, and what usually happens when the match gets struck. We will also talk through the narratives being sold, the interests underneath them, and the risks of escalation.
Dr Scott Burchill is also the author of The National Interest in International Relations Theory and Misunderstanding International Relations, and co-editor of Theories of International Relations.
