The Hon Graham Richardson AO, also known as “Richo” was a Labor Party senator and minister in both the Hawke and Keating governments. During his time in politics, Richardson was known as a powerbroker in the Labor Party. Upon leaving parliament, Richardson became a political commentator for Sky News and Channel Seven. In March 2022, former NSW Liberal minister Michael Photios (perhaps reading the tea leaves of the upcoming election) recruited Richardson to join his lobby firm PremierNational.
